ABOUT US

My name is Breanna Rein, I was born in California, grew up in Maryland/Virginia and moved to Nebraska with my husband shortly after we graduated high school. Together, we have our daughters, Camden Brynn and Laiken Jameson.

I've always been super artistic/creative. I can't comprehend math if my life depended on it, so I'm thankful for my mind that is constantly thinking of the next thing I want and NEED to create! I feel like I have to be making something with my hands all of the time. I get anxiety if I'm not sewing or making props or editing. In fact, I think my worst fear is not completing every Pinterest pin before I die, ha!

I didn't ever grow up thinking I'd want to be a photographer. In middle school I had a hand held camera that I took with me every day and shot candids of everyone from then on to high school, but still even then it never, ever even crossed my mind that I'd be doing this for my "job". And that is in quotes because I'm obviously doing something I super love and not everyone can say that, so I'm very grateful for each and every one of my clients!

I'd like to think I shoot "how it feels and not how it looks", I've read that several times in various online outlets. I've found that to be more my style this year than ever. I want your memories to be real, so real that you feel like you're right back in that moment 5, 10, 20 years down the road.

Other things about me....

I hate wash cloths. It's nothing like a phobia and kind of is. I mostly don't get them.

I can skateboard pretty good!

I can turn my hand all the way around, like an owl can turn it's head.

You may never see me without a hat, I have curly time-consuming hair and it behaves when it wants to.

I've loved coffee my whole life, coffee ice cream, chocolate espresso beans...etc. If you would like to bring me an iced caramel macchiato with an extra shot to your session, just go ahead and take $10 off and count on some extra photos ;D

I named Camden after the Orioles baseball stadium.

I've gotten lucky enough to have a child that sleeps until noon, school is gonna' be fun.

I could sleep for 3 days if life allowed that.

.....the end.
